Kathryn Davis is the author of eight novels, including The Silk Road and Duplex. Her latest book is a Aurelia, Aurelia, a memoir. She has received the Janet Heidinger Kafka Prize, the Morton Dauwen Zabel Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and a Guggenheim Fellowship. Davis won the Lannan Literary Award for Fiction in 2006 and is the senior fiction writer on the faculty of the writing program at Washington University.
