Tim Mayo holds an ALB, Cum Laude, from Harvard University and an MFA from The Bennington Writing Seminars. Among the many places his poems and reviews have appeared are The American Journal of Poetry and The Writer’s Almanac. His poems have received seven Pushcart Prize nominations and have twice been finalists for the Paumanok Poetry Award. His first full length collection, The Kingdom of Possibilities, was a finalist for the 2009 May Swenson Award. His second volume of poems, Thesaurus of Separation was a finalist for the 2017 Montaigne Medal and a finalist for the 2017 Eric Hoffer Book Award. His latest book is Notes to a Mental Hospital Timekeeper. He lives in Brattleboro.
