Stefan Merrill Block
Stefan Merrill Block grew up in Indianapolis and in Plano, Texas. He is the author of the New York Times-bestselling memoir Homeschooled, as well as three novels: The Story of Forgetting, The Storm at the Door, and Oliver Loving. Stefan’s books have been translated into ten languages, and his stories and essays have appeared in The New York Times, The New Yorker, The Guardian, NPR’s Radiolab, GRANTA, The Los Angeles Times, and many other publications.
