Erin Somers
Erin Somers is a novelist, reporter, and book critic based in the Hudson Valley. Her fiction, essays, and criticism have appeared in Harper’s, The New York Times Magazine, The New Yorker, The Paris Review, Esquire, GQ, Best American Short Stories, and elsewhere. Her most recent novel, The Ten Year Affair, was named a 2025 best book of the year by NPR, The New Yorker, Harper’s Bazaar, the Wall Street Journal, Elle, Literary Hub, and Esquire, and was an NYT Editors’ Choice.
